Amed · East Bali
Snorkel the way Amed's fishermen do — from a jukung.
One outrigger boat, one captain, three of Amed's best reefs: the Japanese Shipwreck, Lipah Bay and Jemeluk Bay. Morning or sunset, 300,000 IDR per person, everything included.
Amed Jukung Snorkeling runs three trip options from Amed, East Bali: the Jukung Snorkeling Tour (morning), the Golden Sunset Tour (sunset), and a flexible Custom Trip planned with your guide. The two fixed trips visit the Japanese Shipwreck, Lipah Bay and Jemeluk Bay for 300,000 IDR per person, including mask, snorkel, fins, boat and captain, no guide. Each trip runs with 2 to 5 guests per boat. The Custom Trip includes a local guide who adjusts the route by weather and sea conditions, with optional traditional handline fishing; price is discussed directly.

A working fishing boat, not a tour bus of the sea
The jukung is the same outrigger boat Amed's fishermen have used for generations — narrow, low to the water, and small enough to reach reefs a bigger boat can't get close to.
The Jukung Snorkeling Tour and Golden Sunset Tour run with just a local captain, 2 to 5 guests per boat, so the pace stays unhurried and the group stays small enough to actually follow. The Custom Trip adds a local guide who helps plan the route.
This is run alongside Amed Excursion, the same local team behind tours across East Bali.

What snorkeling spots are included in the trip?
Every trip visits three spots: the Japanese Shipwreck in Banyuning, the coral garden at Lipah Bay, and the reef at Jemeluk Bay.

What is the difference between the morning and sunset trip?

Can the route be flexible?
Yes. The Custom Trip is planned together with your guide on the day, who can suggest spots based on current sea conditions and weather. It can also include traditional handline fishing. Price is discussed directly since the route and duration vary.
